Does anyone know which one would have the worst permanent damage.

I'm stuck between these 2 methods. I don't wanna end up mentally disabled when I fail but I do now failing has big consequences

My limited understanding is failed SN could lead to severe organ damage (I.e long term pain), and failed partial to severe brain damage (I.e. potentially a vegetable).

I think the question should be, what has the greatest chance of success and choose from there. I failed partial about a week ago. I've had really bad headaches and memory loss and dizzy spells since and I didn't even fully lose consciousness. Starving your brain of oxygen is serious.

Imo the least permanent damage is from a failed SN attempt. The earlier you get the antidote (methyleneblue) administered the better the chances are. With partial it also depends on how fast you get out of the noose that (in the best case) constricts blood flow into your brain. Our cells cannot survive without oxygen for long. Afaik massive brain damage is done after more than 3-5 minutes without any oxygen.

Even if you're levels of oxygen drop to 60% or less with the SN method it might be enough to survive at a minimum level for some time. I refer this assumption to first aid when mouth to mouth resuscitation & chest compression can rescue lives until professional help is there.
