Failed hangings

Is there anybody that survived hanging? How did it feel like and do you know what has gone wrong?

I'm planning hanging myself so this interests me. Please tell what you did bad for trying to avoid it.

I tried partial hanging and it didn't work because of the panic response. Had I been drunk or on drugs it might have.

He passed out around 40 seconds in.
Sadly he was found couple minutes later and interrupted.

Had a coma for a few days. Then couldn't walk for a few weeks. Extremely lucky he did not become a vegetable.

He is still attempting today, just being EXTREMELY careful and MAKING SURE NO ONE is there for a good few hours to interrupt.

He described the coma and the hanging as "nothingness, but better than life"
