Hanging from doorknob?

How do people hang from a doorknob? because all i imagine is like, the side where the doorknob is. do they tie a belt or rope to the doorknob and wrap it to the other side of the door? and how do they find belts so strong? also, if anyone has any resources for hanging that would be awesome if you could share :)

There's a thread I could link, on hanging. But to hang from a door, you tie one end of your rope or whatever to one of the doorknobs, then throw said rope over the top of the door and tie the knot on that side. Hope this helps, love and peace

Yes i did that only. I tied it to the doorknob and wrapped it to the other side of the door
