"Ringo" means apple, I like apples. "Ringo", that's the name of a moon rabbit who cooks mochi, I like mochi. "Ringo"/Golden, that's the lockseed based on the forbidden fruit and has knight motif, I love knights and is one of my favorite collectibles in all the figure lines where it is included. I would have loved to get one from any line, they are all super articulated, so they are perfect for stop motion. I chose my name before the whole UHC CEO thing and I think it's funny that my name has kinda taken on an another meaning. With all the buzz around Luigi Mangione's trial it kinda is the year of Luigi :P

 

[Sunü (素女)]

I based mine on a character that I intended to roleplay as, and that character's name is based on the ancient Chinese goddess: Sunü. I thought it'd be a good reference since my roleplaying partner was also a reference to the Huangdi, the fabled Yellow Emperor. In the roleplay, we planned on marrying the two to unite both families and increase both their powers. He'd be the husband that would slowly lose his sanity from work, and she'd be his comfort through it. I also had other characters that would try to complicate it and backstab each other for power. It was fun to daydream about, but I never got to actually roleplay it out. I was too unproductive.

I had a good cast of characters to pick from, but I think I chose Sunü as my name here because I planned on her committing suicide later in the RP. I think it was a mix from the abuse from her husband and the isolation from her family. Her abusive father dies and her brother goes two-faced and wants her husband dead to accrue more power. She'd die hanging by a tree near a creek because of it all. Also, the profile picture that I chose is her; I like the imagine her having those silent, contemplative moments about what to do.

Side note, the name is dark, the est is because the name was taken.

Mine is reference to the novel "Flowers for Algernon" by Daniel Keyes. It's about a man with a low IQ who takes part in a surgery that is meant to make him smarter. But as it turns out, the effects are only temporary. The book follows the main character's miserable decline from intelligence to mental disability. That's how I've been feeling like for some time.

As a trans person, I find myself entirely detached from my own body and thus my mind/soul has become distinct from the vessel it's forced to reside in. It's also a reference to Ghost in the Shell, which often covers themes of existentialism and identity, which is why I have the pfp that I do. If it was possible, I would fully give up biological flesh to become a synthetic human if it meant being able to be one with myself.

i was emotionally neglected as a child. middle child here haha. my mom took perfect care of all my other needs like food, clean house and showing up to my appointments but never talked to me about my problems. there was never room for my emotions because my sister was struggling.
