I've been learning how to use the dark net to hopefully get access to some drugs that can help me achieve a peaceful CTB. As a sort of test drive (before buying any of the more expensive drugs I plan to use for my actual CTB), I purchased some 1mg Alprazolam because I think it's one of the stronger benzodiazepines and looking at the charts below, it has a half-life of 12 hours which is ideal for me.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_benzodiazepines (I think this one is more up to date?)

Before I talk about my first experience with Alprazolam, I think it's worth noting I may have unknown digestive problems. Ever since my caffeine overdose in late February/early March last year (I don't think it was a serious attempt at OD, I only had like ~20 cans of 250ml redbull across 2 days, but I was also drinking a lot of energy drinks before hand, but I don't know the exact number.) I've had difficulty in building up weight.

Also depending on what I drink or eat (I haven't pinpointed what exactly yet), I'll usually have sweated a lot during my sleep. Usually this results in me losing whatever weight I may have gained during the day. (Although strangely enough the last time this did happen, I don't think I lost any weight.) This may seem unrelated, but I think it's worth mentioning because I do plan on CTBing by overdosing orally and do not want to screw this up and end up with severe brain damage. I've had an endoscopy and no damages to my esophagus and stomach, just still waiting for the results from the biopsies for the entrance to my upper intestine, but I sadly could be waiting up to 27th of March to get those because I don't think they expect it to be cancerous.

Anyways I went to a hotel and took 1mg Alprazolam at 10.15pm. After about 30 minutes I was still awake and started getting concerned if my body was having issues digesting it. Yes for all I know they could have been fake, but the strips they were in looked legitimate so I was blaming my own body more. Not only that, my body felt like it wanted to start sweating without actually sweating (it was a weird feeling). Anyways I think about another 30 minutes I finally dozed off (this would explain the updated wiki table saying it has a peak onset of action of 1-3 hours, I really should have paid more attention the updated wiki table instead of the other one '>_>).

My sleeping experience was the weirdest one I've had yet. I was having incredibly vivid dreams, in the first lot I was well aware I was in a different world and kept trying to go into different worlds to avoid people who were trying to capture me. I woke up at at about 6.50am still feeling drowsy. For some reason I went back to sleep and had more vivid dreams. They were different ones this time, mainly involving my family members but I won't go into any further detail on that. I then woke up at about 9.30m, not feeling as drowsy as before but still slightly light headed.

The good news is it was the second time since May last year I've finally managed to sleep at least more than 6 hours straight. (The first time was with 2 chamomile tablets, 2 Kalms One a Night tablets and a 3mg Melatonin tablet, but I also didn't sleep at all the day before. It didn't work when I tried it a second time sadly.)

I know it's not recommended to use benzodiazepines to help you stay asleep, but unfortunately I have to deal with the most obnoxious neighbour who bangs and coughs away during the night until like 3-4am. I've been trying to collect evidence against him (even that's not easy), but from what the landlord's described to me, even if I managed to get enough evidence to get him kicked out, it's sadly an incredibly long process, I'd probably be able to move out myself much quicker than getting him kicked out and even that sadly can still be a long process.

If the Alprazolams I got can help me sleep through the night without getting interrupted, I might try riding it out on those (I got another 59 1mg tablets left) until I get my drugs I can use to CTB. Of course I do have to be careful about the tolerance (and possible addiction XD) that can build up when using them for more than 1-2 weeks.

Apologies for the long post, but I'm curious to know what others' experiences have been like with benzodiazepines, and also any recommendations more appropriate benzos for keeping yourself asleep at night. Also I would appreciate the thoughts of those with any gastroenterology expertise that can help me figure out if I do have any digestive problems that could cause complications for CTBing orally or if it's just stress related.

I take 2mg of Alprazolam every night before sleep, sometimes I sleep for a couple of hours, most often I don't sleep at all for weeks.
But I have ruined my part of brain regulating sleep by using heroin for years (more like decades).

But to think that you can overdose on Alprazolam itself - you'll be here for years, taking SN in the end.
Alprazolam AND 1-2 liters of alcohol (strong) - yes, there have been cases of both intentional and unintentional deaths.

Oh don't worry I don't plan on relying on Alprazolam itself to CTB (I've read trying to CTB on benzos alone is practically impossible). It's either going to be Phenobarbital and/or some analogue of Nitazene, but I plan on making a separate topic for that, probably tomorrow.

My mother's been on it for a long time and yeah, the dependency is real. I don't take any psychoactives so the one time I was forced to take it years back, it made me feel absolutely nothing. Like, I was emotionally numbed out.
My mother always mentioned how she needed it to sleep before going on her current antidepressants and weaning off the alprazolam, but that the sleep isn't high quality. and lasted few hours. In fact, I think it impaired her ability to dream, so I'm not sure what happened there...

She's an incredibly light sleeper and uses soft earplugs to sleep quite well. Literally any sound will wake her up, and we've been living out here in the noisy apartments for a while and I've noticed she sleeps a lot better now. Have you considered that for the sleep?

I'm wary of using ear plugs. Last two experiences with them have not been good. I can't remember what type of ear plugs I got last time, but I ended up getting 1 of my ears terribly blocked, had to get a professional to come clean both ears for £70. I'd rather not risk having to burn £70 again.

If you can tell me what brand your mother gets, I might try them if I can get them easily from somewhere like Amazon.

Oh dear. I can understand your aversion (x_x;)
I asked her about it and she said it's not any specific brand she knows of, she just asked at the pharmacy for sound-blocking ear plugs. She does admit she's prone to ear infections and that they sometimes act up because of them so she has to clean the plugs in boiling water and dish soap to prevent trouble with that. I've seen the plugs and they're pretty much like memory foam.

(I've also had ear blocking issues, and here they tell us to mix a solution of half water and half hydrogen peroxide, leaving it there in each ear for like 10-15 minutes or longer and repeating for about 3 days before requesting the clearing... Idk if you know about this as a prophylactic measure, but it could help. If you go to the pharmacy, maybe you can ask about it?)

I guess it wouldn't hurt to go to a pharmacy to ask what kinds of ear plugs they recommend. If I can find a way of keeping myself asleep for the next month or 2, it'll definitely help save spending money staying at a hotel while I wait for my other drugs to CTB with arrive. XD

Yeah! I would also be very specific to mention the troubles you've had in the past so they can advise on how to prevent or cure it on your own ;o;
