• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Have you ever sat back and looked at the media we consume and noticed how we glorify death and killing things.

I'm currently watching gladiator 2 as an example and when you actually think about the fact that we used to put people in arenas to kill each other for entertainment is fucking crazy.

Video games. The best ones involve murdering everything in site.

We become so desensitised do death and destruction.

But who's to say one day we aren't going to die in some meaningless war for the people in charge of pur country. I'm blessed to live in Australia. But so many people aren't so lucky.

Death is just cheap entertainment for the masses and it always has been.

What sort of world do we really love in where death is the main source of entertaining. It's truly fucked up.

Yeah it is fucked. We really are truly desensitised. Not just by entertainment media, but news too.

I'd try and do something about it, sign petitions here, donate to good causes there, but wtf can little old me really achieve? It's depressing.

My gf gave some awesome advice just the other day though. Don't donate to big charities because most of that money probably just goes to paying a very wealthy CEO. Instead do things like asking a foodbank what they're short on and buying food for them. 100% of your donation goes to people in need
