Embarrassed to say almost CTB for love, now in recovery for love

Almost drove myself into a tree when I found out my ex had a baby
But there's a possibility he regrets moving on with this particular person
I've never quite loved myself and chose myself everyday.... Only him and SI well since I was a child
I will try this first "loving yourself" thing. I've never really given it the old college try.
(I stayed alive for my baby nephew. He will be 21 soon. So he can handle if I'm gone).
And hopefully he returns to me at least with apologies.
This was a hiccup in our relationship. An immature mistake I caused with my mania. It can be forgiven. It is forgiven.
I won't get into more details but. We have unfinished business. We will finish it in this lifetime.

There's nothing embarrassing about that. Love can absolutely be an extremely important factor when it comes to your will to live. And I heavily relate, as I have also became suicidal over and attempted over love. As difficult as it feels, you just have to feel through the pain and keep pushing. Find reasons to live and things that make you happy outside of that specific person. I hope you are able to heal, and god bless.
