• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Usually I scratch at my fingers or my wrists whenever I'm panicking. It helps me calm down, and is my preferred way to s/h while also calming myself down. However, it's very noticeable obviously. Are there any suggestions on where I could S/H instead to not be as visible, or maybe different methods? Sometimes I choke myself with my hands to sort of disappear for a few seconds, but my hands aren't the strongest. I just need something to calm down. Something to distract myself. I dont want to CTB just yet. I'm too scared of how much it'll hurt. I just need some way to s/h in a way that won't be noticed, a way to disappear atleast for abit.

take a hair tie around ur wrists or upper arms. pull it and let it go. it'll sting and leave slight marks at first, but it fades away eventually. Unlike cutting.

Hi Scratchinglemons, sorry for the late reply

My best advice is to just get yourself a knife and start cutting on places like your thighs where it's easily covered up. Helped me through some tough times in high school. You don't have to cut deep, people on Twitter would say "If you don't see white you're not doing it right" but that's complete bullshit because is says more about the sharpness of the knife than your SH severity.
Keep in mind cutting is very addictive, but that's sort of the point because you get addicted to coping mechanisms that work. When I get frustrated I still kinda punch my leg and that sort of helps, and it doesn't leave any marks.

I really hope this post helps you through your tough times and anxiety and all that.
