Slow sips. Waiting for the effects...and will take a few more. Not going back. Thank you to those who were so generous and kind. I've sat here all day trying to get up the courage. Taken care of some stuff. The taste is extremely salty, but isn't bothering me at all yet. It's been about 3 minutes. I'm listening to some music I love. I followed the protocol almost to the letter. I also took an Ambien and a Xanax about 30 minutes ago. Haven't eated in over 18 hours. This forum is necessary. NECESSARY.

Feeling a tad bit strange, but not big symptoms yet. Too early. Plus I already feel drowsy from the Ambien and calm because of the Xanax.

Be careful, drinking it too slowly increases the likelihood of it taking too long and SI getting to you.

Good luck whatever happens, and remember, the good thing about SN is you can change your mind and call emergency services as long as you are conscious to do so. x

I hope the OP finds peace. At the same time, most of us are here because of personal suffering, physical or psychological.

How did we end up here? Our childhood? Trauma? Something preventable? Did people listen and empathize with our pain?

Most people who ctb, ask for help, the signs are there. Ctb is the last option. So many missed opportunities to help people, qualified professionals.

A qualified professional should be someone who has been there, suffered themselves.

We are viewed through the lens of mental illness and treated as mentally ill rather than humans who are hurting.

If I went to the hospital with a broken bone, it would be treated immediately. You can see it on an x-Ray. Psychological anguish is not taken as seriously as physical pain.

Doctors are still prescribing meds with a 70 percent chance they may not work. We still don't know how these meds work and why they don't.

The pharma industry would rather keep people medicated than cure an illness.

Just my thought, and my final thought is with the OP. May they finally be at peace.
