I know being found outside, the police will likely go through my phone but will they give my family access to what they find after? I don't want them seeing what they out me through, that's personal. I don't want them having access to my social medias either
I know of many cases where Apple have refused to provide passcodes of iPhones to families of people who CTB or have been suspected to. If you have an iPhone you should be fine.

They can access Android phones even if you have a password? This is something that was bugging me as well, once I decide and plan my death, the first thing I'm gonna do is try to get rid as much data as I could, especially my privacy.
