Help Is it normal for people to look through your devices after you CTB?

1: I mean police officers, not family.
2: If I am not involved in a serious crime [which I am not], would they still look through my devices and internet history? Would deleting anything odd on my phone work to prevent access? Would they tell my family what they find? I am wondering if I should delete the NSFW content and stuff I have downloaded.

Suicide is a crime in most countries. Besides, police is supposed to investigate if it was an actual suicide or a carefully planned murder.
I don't want my devices to be checked. But unfortunately, that's inevitable so best is to format your devices before you go.
Talking about NSFW content, in case you plan to ctb, then yes, clean your phone. Although almost every adult uses nsfw sites and many have nsfw content in their devices, but they can still make unnecessary fuss before you go and it can get embarrassing for the ones you leave behind you

They absolutely will. They have to fully investigate cases of premature death. They have to make sure you weren't murdered and that there weren't any suspicious circumstances that lead to your death. Leaving a note won't prevent this. Going through your devices is just part of the process for them.

What they'll tell your family about. Really just depends.

Just know that after you die. You loose all right to privacy.

Some companies do not allow a backdoor for authorities no matter what. That poses a significant security threat and can be exploited by hackers.

I mean.. i know this can be kind of a mindbreaker but youre likely to not even know if they did that or not. Well youre just gonna.. non exist. Atleast most likely, but i do think that there is a high chance for that
