Make sure the rope is good and strong.

To answer your queation yes and yes. Literly everything affecs rope method.

Your weight and hight (to supporrt the rope)
Length well better longer than shorter. Can awlays ajust/cut
The place you fasten it also matters.

Literly a lot of factors. But most important make aure rope will support your weight and the force/resistance of the weight + drop from the jump.

Math.

Like physics.

Your body weight. Force, volicity.

Im not a pro at this as i was just curioise and looked i to it.

Heres a thread that can better help us understand.

All.i know is that lota of factls to consider. But they did say "drop doesnt matter" but i say thay it doeses as drop will make the knot on the back snap your neck.

Im not a pro but just did quick research when looking for my method.

I tried partial with a 15ft tope. I just left the extra trail all over the floor. Did not give me any trouble as far as I got in my attempt (borderline past out).
