Does life deserves to be lived ?
Some moments that Can make us happy ? Liké setting in thé Sun on a cold weather ?

Getting money till WE Can buy what WE want ?

And etc and so on and so on , but in thé end it's all meant to serves thé survival instinct !!

Life deserves to be lived! No doubt! I lived my life but since a few years it's over after a big failure in life. Ofc this is personal and may be different for you.

Humans are both blessed and cursed with intelligence. Animals, we must assume, don't really think about what happens from one day to the next. We, sadly, have the faculties to ask "why?"

It's an interesting idea. Do we owe life a chance? That kind of presents it as an entity all on it's own. I'm not sure it is though. Our particular lives wouldn't exist without us- unless I suppose you believe in destiny and that no one is destined to CTB. That CTB somehow disrupts this path. In which case- it's some sort of violation. But against what or who though? God? The universe's overall plan?

I think most people like to frame it that we owe ourselves the chance to experience life because they will insist that life could still be good. This whole idea of the potential in life. That's going to vary from individual to individual. Realistically- are they going to be able to achieve the things that would bring them a sense of happiness and fulfilment? I imagine they strongly doubt it if they are considering killing themselves! Surely they will have gone through other scenarios in their heads... That's not to say they are right. No one knows the future. But surely- isn't it up to them to decide? They are the ones who will have to put in the work after all- and it likely will take a lot of work.

When that fails, they'll emotionally blackmail us and say we owe it to other people to live. That can be on a personal level, or- on a societal level. What about if someone exceptionally talented on the cusp of discovering the cure to alzeimers desperately wants to kill themselves? Shouldn't they still have the right to? Or- do they owe it to everyone to keep going? On a more personal level- do we owe it to our loved ones to carry on? Only the individual can decide that. Again- I don't think it's something that should be imposed on people.

Why is watching a setting sun objectively good or makes you Happy? If I'm suffering extreme constipation and extreme nausea will looking at the sun to further burn my retina make me happy?

what's Worth the worst torture?

is it that because we've seen that scene in the movies many times that we think that is supposed to make us happy?

Several times other humans have remarked "that setting sun is beautiful"
I said "looking at the sun directly can burn your retina" . They quickly look away and say I see yellow spots in front of me...

In my case I'd prefer to die under all circumstances. I believe that existence is better erased and forgotten about, I see existence as nothing more than a virus that just causes harm and suffering.

I hate how I was so harmfully imposed with the ability to exist in this hellish reality where there is no limit as to how much one can suffer. Only ceasing to exist can prevent all future suffering so I'd certainly only see it as desirable to not exist.
I don't see any benefit or point to existing anyway, I find it such a horrific tragedy how life even exists at all, I don't understand why anyone would wish to exist as a conscious being trapped in this decaying flesh prison, wanting death is all that feels rational to me, to escape from this cruel and meaningless existence that's ultimately responsible for all suffering

I'd say, from a personal level, I don't think owing it to someone else to carry on be it loved ones ever works unless the individual is convinced that it will. It truly is up to each of us to decide if we have it in us.

When I was believed in a God, I did actually believe that me ctbing would somehow ruin everything, that this "grand plan" to be realized would've been no more and that I'd be punished for it but not only did I not ask to be born, born Black or African or in a 3rd world shitshow of a country thats constantly finding new ways to make me hate it even more, I also overestimated my own Importance, that me ctbing would somehow violate a law in reality when really, I came to the conclusion that it would be taking myself out of the ability to suffer more in life because what if having a job, kids and a partner, all that wouldn't make up for the issue of the human condition that was unfairly imposed on me, to live as many decades as possible, experiencing all kinds of pain and disappointment. Even the process of going to school, it feels like a conveyor belt purpose built so that there's always something controlling you, be it religion or your career, It is mundane and it bores me. Grow up, go to college, get a job, get married and then have kids. Is anyone else seriously just bored with all of it? Why have a family? So that they can just suffer and inevitably die? and then society naively sees suicide as this "easy-way out", suicide has always been a reaction to something gone terribly wrong in the world and the fact that the numbers are there for anyone to see, no amount of platitudes about how good life is can ever make sense to me again.

I feel like I am just stuck burning time until my inevitable grave. I really dont like it here and I can't wait for it to be over but si doesn't make it any easier on any of us to leave either.

Suicide to me is an autonomous right, to check out when I've decided I've seen enough.

I believe that the individual should decide this question for themselves. In my case, I don't think my life deserves to live as I believe that I deserve better than that. A better life seems impossible in my case but death is inevitable and I believe that's what I deserve as I believe I don't deserve to suffer
