i had a few people i was very close to on this forum who have passed on, i will probably never forget them as long as i continue living

i suppose you shouldnt make friends on a suicide forum but also i will continue to ignore this piece of advice

I do sometimes sure, but even moreso I think about members who vanished suddenly without an explanation or a goodbye thread. I always wonder if they're still alive or not. I wonder if their lives got better or if they ended them without telling us. Some of my closest friends from here are people I will always care about, but they are unfortunately among those who disappeared suddenly.

A user I considered a friend. We talked fsh a lot. How we lacked the courage. I won't reveal exactly what he said but I think he finally went through with it. Can't confirm.
He's at peace. I'm sad for his life but happy he no longer suffers.

@Namelesa (aka @Anonymousa) and @2ndme come to mind.

@2ndme's last words of "I feel regretful" have stuck with me for years, every now and then I remember her, eg when visiting threads about sn. At first I was thinking that she was getting the freedom she wished, but reading her say she feels regretful (how much idk), was hard to read.

@Namelesa because I talked with her as well, she's a nice moderator. She CTB'd (according to a friend here), with long dog toys or smth, and I'm disappointed that her CTB was due to a certain member here (the member was one of the few bad actors here, and took advantage of her)

im new here and i just read @2ndme's last thread it was a hard read not gonna lie and her plan is very similiar to mine... i still have a deadline and i could turn it around for me but i know i wont so im trying to prepare beforehand for the inevitable. that last message actually hurts so bad...

I happened on a older forum of someone who drink SN to pass away. That forum warmed my heart in a way and I think that person's peace must have rubbed on me because I think about their goodbye thread where people were very kind to them and with them. I didnt know the person and didnt join till after this happened but I do think of it. I may start my own crossover thread when I choose my day. Tonight Im picking up my where and taking a shower after a week or so of neglect. So maybe that'll be sooner than later. Say this weekendd maybe. My inner negotiations has changed from "do we die?" To "when do we die?". My brain keeps telling me sooner is better than later.

As a queer person, these posts hit me the hardest and I think about them the most. I can't blame them and I do understand, but how I wish they had people around them that supported their identities and who they were when they were here. The individual I think about the most on here was in a similar situation.

They're in my heart and I hope they're finally at peace.

I'm still super new here but some of these goodbye threads have had me genuinely tearing up especially @2ndme just her final words made me think alot. And hearing about those who have passed from friends i've made here just has affected me quite alot seeing how i have alot in common and could of genuinely been friends with them if we met and just knowing they're gone feels quite surreal.

I think about 'youremy' sometimes, I don't know if it's the princess diana picture that made them stick in my brain a bit or something else.
I also think about 'windingdown', she really had a special way with words. Her reason for suicide resonates with me too. Because, like her, I think I'm not necessarily thinking of CTB-ing out of escaping current immense pain but more so deep boredom, and for the lack of potential to experience truly beautiful things in life. Though I'm starting to think that might not be the case for me, maybe I still have a shot.

Totally. One user I even think of like yesterday - if I look at the clock and it's a certain time.
I just hope they really are no longer suffering. Because I am a pessimist and my brain likes to catastrophize and I can never help wondering…. What if it didn't work? How many times have I heard a user say they've only got one chance to do it right? If they failed, What if they are in an even more awful situation now?
