Discussion Does anyone else plan to donate their body to medical science when they finally CTB?

I'd love them to dissect my faulty brain. But gonna be cremated. Might include the donate bit in my will. If I donate organs, they might give others depression..

If you're able to donate organs please do so! Brain chemicals won't affect the other organs, eyes, bones tissues and everything else that they can use for burn victims,
Cornea transplants and all.
I doubt I'll be able to using SN but ya never know. My bro in law just had his second kidney transplant and has had two pancreas transplants. So hard for me to ctb when he's fought so hard to live. Donating blood to hep
Others can also speed up process for those using SN as there would be less red blood cells to carry oxygen and so you'll have less blood for about 6 weeks-the sooner the better after donating. Trying to donate at home likely won't be enough as your more likely to clot and not donate enough to make a difference.

Probably a cremation, haven't really thought about it my minds been stressing about CTB plans.

I've thought about it, and I'd consider it if I thought that it could be of any use, but I have a large amount of doubt about that. I'd honestly rather just be cremated and then have my ashes thrown in a landfill to be forgotten. The less people remember me, the better.

I would love to have my body donated to a body farm. Once it's just my bones left, I'd like those donated - most specifically my skull and hyoid bone - to the anthropology and forensic study lab for students. I've answered this before, but I loved my forensic anthro classes and I'd love to contribute to the next generation in some way.

I doubt it would happen. Even if I had it written down and notarized, my selfish narc family would immediately override it. They want to cremate me and keep me with the rest of their hoarded junk. No escape from them even in death.
