My husband knows I'm suicidal but he doesn't know I'm on this forum.

No. Nobody in real life knows that I want to die. It is nothing to do with anyone else, it is my life, my choice. They would not accept and understand my decision. I have been suicidal for many years. I will make sure that nobody will ever know. I am the type of person who keeps everything to myself anyway.

i have no friends, family doesn't need to know about this. although, i think they might guess that im suicidal, but that won't change anything. ctb is inevitable for me. my advice is never tell anyone about it, life is a prison, and suicide is a prison break

Nobody knows except for one online friend who is also depressed and survived two attempts. I wouldn't mind telling a real life friend because she is also depressed, but other than that... I don't want anyone to know. My mother would use it to insult me, my boyfriend would worry too much. People don't need to know everything.

No one in my life is aware of my membership on this forum... that I'm aware of. I'm often paranoid that they do know and are keeping it from me for some reason but I'm sure that's a delusion.

The few people in my life either aren't internet savvy enough to find a place like this or would not come across this particular corner of the web based on who they are.

In icu they informed the staff not to give me pain meds.

then they make me surrender my rights, commit me to an asylum,

that numbness, might as well be dead.
They have no idea who I am, what I need, or what to do with me
they understand but they dont like it...
They've left me to it, so I can get it right.

Telling family, friends or therapists will only make them even more concerned about my situation. I am not sure if they can do it legally, but I do not want to be locked up in a psych ward for good.

No. I want to limit the exposure of this forum to the general public. A lot of people are trying to take SS down, and I feel like I need to do my part to keep SS safe and that requires being quiet, which is a piece of cake because I hate most people.

Other rl friends - since we don't talk about mental health a whole lot or I feel the need to bring every little detail of my life into the conversation - it never came up, would talk about it openly tho.

Not even afraid to open the site in public.

And I recommend this site to an ex as well but his relationship is better now so I don't think he's here.

No. No one around me could be considered anywhere near "pro choice" when it comes to suicide. I'm sure if anyone knew I would be in a psych ward by now. My mom knows I have suicidal thoughts and I'm sure some other people that I know do too, but they have no idea about the depth of the thoughts/think it's something from like years ago and I don't think about it now anymore.
