I'm adopted and there are times I wish that my birth mother aborted me. I don't know why this is a recurring idea in my head, but it is. Has anyone else ever wish they were never born?
100% I know that my birth mother had 3 miscarriages before me and I've always wished with all my heart that she had 4. I was never supposed to be here in the first place and now I have to suffer for it

It would have been easier, for sure, but now that I'm here….

It's less 'I wish I had never been born' and more 'I wish I had been born under different circumstances'- in particular, a more stable point in history, one where I would be able to grow to old age and die peacefully. When I look at the world we have, that doesn't seem like an option. However, if the choice were between 'never being born' and 'living through now', shit yeah, let me be unborn

Yes it's been nothing but trauma, torture and pain. From the beginning it has sucked so much and the worst part is the parents who bring you here don't give a shit either.

Yes, for a few reasons, I don't me being alive is adding much to existence just using resources for someone who wants to live. If I was never born then I not existing wouldn't hurt/ affect anyone. But me existing means non existing has that consequence. Because sadly not many people understand that deciding to take your own life is an acceptable and sound of mind decision. When most people who do so, have deliberated for a long time and would prefer they could enjoy life as other perceive too. Though I think everyone is pretending anyway.

Always. My existence had been nothing but a burden on those around me

Yes, if i knew being born would mean living exactly the life i have, i wouldhave preferred to just pass up the whole existence thing. If i did not know life would be exactly the way it has gone for me, but knew it could possibly be any of the near infinite experiences of pain and suffering all humans collectively experience, then still i would say no thanks.

If no universe configuration is possible that does not involve pain and suffering, then say no to all universes.

In hindsight yes.

A lot of my life i've kept going on the basis that there would be better days ahead if i just made a good go of it.

But it's now getting to the stage where that's not really credible any more and i would have been better off ending it long ago, or for it to have never started

Yes, I would be better off not existing
