There's only one user here who I can really fully trust with every single piece of information regarding me.

However, as for the rest here, the best I can really trust them with is information as to why I'm suicidal and my neurotype which had forever cursed me ever since I was born but, then again, trusting people here with these things is moot anyways due to how the nature of this site is such that people can freely talk about why they're suicidal
Lol is it me? Or FC haha

Yeah, it's FC. Either that was a lucky guess or you just know me really well... it sounds like the latter case to me

I know she is controversial here and I'll admit even I don't always fully agree with her but, at the same time, she's the last person who would snake this forum out or the sources promoted within here. She genuinely does seem like somebody who views suicide as a personal choice and wouldn't try to keep people alive if they don't want to. I know other users here, including you, are the same in that regard but I have seen situations in where people here have even admitted that they'd stop somebody from killing themselves in certain scenarios (mainly the scenario of the suicidal person being a loved one) whereas FC has consistently shown that she wouldn't stop anybody no matter what. Of course people say that her views would make it so that it sounds like she's encouraging me or whatever but I never seen her views as them encouraging me to kill myself as I basically have most of her mindset before I joined the site anyway

I guess I'm just too paranoid of other people here and whilst I know that people here are pro choice, I also do fear of the rare situation in where they may not be because of human emotions interfering. Not to mention at how she wouldn't ever tell me to take recovery which I like because I see recovery as a way to make me a better cog in the capitalist machine which isn't what I want at all (though you're the exact same too)

Also, now that I think about it, you're pretty trustworthy as well and consistent too. I guess my mind is just wired to trust her more because I've seen too many of her posts

How would you feel if it was you instead? I assume you probably wouldn't be surprised. There are probably a couple of users on this site who would trust you than they would trust others here

I'm not sure lol. I guess I just don't fully know how you would interact with others as I haven't really seen you do that when it comes to somebody saying that they will ctb. Something I do like about you which others here don't have is how you aren't guilt tripped by the reactions of anybody after your death so that makes me trust you more but, still, I guess I just don't know enough about you yet. For now, you're number 2 on my list which is honestly really good as I'm way too paranoid to trust people and, consequently, my list isn't high at all

I trust people to not give intentionally bad advice.
Never give personal info out to anyone. You have no idea if they will snitch or if one of you gets hacked and they see all the messages.
Other than personal info i love everyone here

i trust people to an extent. wouldn't give out personal information but i trust that when people give me advice it is from a good place.
i like to think that we are all trying to help each other. obviously a couple users here and there are on here to encourage suicide or post gore or whatever but that's the far minority. most of us are just sad and want to help eachother out.

Lol absolutely not. It's the internet dude.

More precisely, I do not trust "anyone" as a group. As soon as I'm speaking 1 on 1 (online or otherwise) automatically my stupid takes over and I trust first and ask questions later. Yes this kicks my ass constantly.

I used to be very naive and trusted everyone. I tend to speak my mind as honestly as I can and was very open. I thought others were the same. When the person who I loved most in the world whom I thought was the most loving trustful person I could ever hope to meet, betrayed my trust and myself, I had a very rude awakening. I don't I think I trust much anymore. I still lean toward believing people are being honest with what they bring forward, but trust, it would take a long time.

This is a public forum that anyone can view. It's not a matter of trust when there's no secrecy in the first place.
Trust is the wrong word. The difference with this place is that it's very open, people aren't at each others throats even with disagreements and there isn't any censorship nonsense. Ironically it makes it the most genuine "public forum" when you compare it to other places.

I've read other people's experiences (especially on the medical side) and something like is an extreme high chance of being genuine (you need to be completely engulfed if you fake medical aspects for attention).

The information here is genuine, people get along and all in all it's pretty good. Since my relationship ended that was the last bit of trust I had. So that's still dead. Asking for opinions and advice here? That's fine. If people are really stuck and private message it's still better than any other forum.

To a certain extent I trust people who have been here for some time and that I've interacted with before, but only to a certain extent and wouldn't give out any information that I don't mind being public unless they somehow really managed to earn my trust.

Just like people I have met throughout my life, I'd have to get to know someone fairly well before I'd extend any trust to them. Trust is earned. And it would depend on the circumstances and in what I was being asked to trust them.

I haven't had the chance to speak with anyone/make personal connections, so not really in that way.
but I do like to not think the worst of people on this site, if that makes sense.
I don't assume they're lying on their posts, I trust what they write to be true.
There are of course a few familiar faces on this site that I see around a lot, and I do feel they are more "trustworthy" in their writing.
I think that is as far as it goes for me.

The user you are speaking to can snitch and release all your personal info if you anger them or they do not like you. This is not an internet thing. This is a human thing.
If you are an idiot and give hints to your password or any accounts in a data breach that same person can also release that.

What kind of personal info is bad to disclose? Anything? Would it be a bad idea to meet people from this website then?

I trust in people here more than anywhere else comparable. I know theres a percentage of pro-lifers parading around, but I like to think is a small amount and the mass majority are able to relate to what's going through my head

I guess no. We are all here for a reason, this community is somewhat comforting but I don't think people here really care for other users. Maybe if they chat privately and get to know better. I'm here to waste my time. Found here useful information about different methods and thanks to this, I bought resources needed for ctb.
I also wouldn't share here personal information. It's not safe to do so on the internet.

I trust everyone generally in the threads (to an extent), but generally I don't seek out 1 on 1 convos with people online (this is in general for me, not just limited to this site). It's not out of some security thing, just by default. Also I'm just some name on a thread somewhere. From my upbringing, I generally don't put everything about myself online as I grew up in a sort of "wild west" internet. (think early to mid 2000s)

I trust some few members. But I still don't share very private information in direct messages. There is a lot of half-knowledge on here.
Moreover, there are some bad actors. Maybe it is my paranoia...there are anti-choice people, there are probably some journalists and maybe some few who enjoy seeing people in pain.

I had some weird private conversations in the past. My paranoia protected me to share too much information. And some turned out to be....bad apples. I would be careful who to trust on here. But this counts for most places online.

Edit: I just read a thread where someone was scammed on here. (selling stuff is prohibited for a good reason on here. Many people are unstable and should not blame themselves for it.) I can remember a scammer scumbag who pretended to start a charity on here and begged people to donate to him before they ctb. Such despicable assholes..he was banned eventually.)
