Cuz I do, well I didn't always, but recently I've noticed that I envy quite a lot of ppl. Like I watch the insta stories of my former classmates and they're all in relationships, all constantly travelling somewhere far away. Idk, in general they've just got their lives together u know, they just live normal lives, have friends and relationships etc.
That's all supposed to be normal, but for me it's foreign and so far away, I envy them for what they have and prob take for granted. I've truly fucked up

Yeah, almost every day. I didn't exactly grow up in easy circumstances, but by now I have a life that a lot of people would probably envy. I have many friends, I'm studying, I'm good at my job, I have a very loving partner, and I travel a lot. And yet none of it makes me feel like I want to stay here.

I envy people who can genuinely be happy with those things, because I don't understand why I can't.

So much envy I've detached from all of my friends because I cannot keep up with their exciting lives.

only those who's lives, morals, strength, and personalities align with what God favors.

also those that die young, fast, and with little pain

it's one of my greatest fears to live unto old age.

and i often feel everything about me is opposite of what God wants of me. and at best it's humbled me and at worst has destroyed my self-confidence

I hope that you can someday find a way to be happy

Yeah kinda same, even though I wouldn't even say that their lives (in my case) are rlly that exciting, they're just what's considered normal here and I envy them for that. They've grown up and are doing adult things, which I am still not

I'm quite okay with where I am and feel happy to see people who are actively traveling, being in love, or keeping on pursuing their dreams. The world would be boring if all people were sad, without goals and so on. In that case, who the hell would make movies I like?

Well, the only thing that made me jealous not so long ago was colleagues in my professional field who were more successful, speaking at conferences, recognized. After several years I figured out that it mostly was related to a fear of remaining unwanted, meaning, without money in my pocket. So now I'm trying to just chill with the fear being homeless, poor, and tortured by evil teenagers, hahaha.

Feeling jealous or envious is okay, especially when we are being aware of it, but I think it's worth reminding that this feeling could be called destructive. I would prefer to be inspired. Maybe I just don't have enough ambition, with a bit more drive, I could have ended up like Antonio Salieri from Amadeus.

btw insta is a disgusting thing, I removed it a long time ago.

Honestly.... All the time. 😢
I envy attractive people with brains... I didn't fucking get any. 😡😡😡😡😡😡
When I see attractive women,I do think I hope they have a good life. Not being married or dating a sleezebag.

Yes, but then I remember on social media, it's their "highlight reel" so of course their highlight reel will seem better than day-to-day mundane happenings. I still experience this with people in person, however.
