What I'd fear is trying to die potentially going wrong and leading to way worse suffering, it's horrific how that could happen, it disturbs me how there's no limit as to how much agony a human can feel, it's terrifying how one can potentially suffer so much yet not die. All I wish for is a guaranteed, peaceful death which is like never waking again, it's such an unacceptable, hellish tragedy how the option of such isn't a basic human right.

Oh absolutely I would; the pain is the main barrier for me.

I don't mind not being alive, we've all already been there before anyway.

My method is painless so not the barrier for me, but I do wonder how people endure the pain of many years remaining alive due to fear of pain for a short amount of time. Not meant as a a judgement, honestly just a struggle for me understand empathetically.

it's the fear and worry of making myself suffer more than i already am, versus the fact that i will just stop being a person, i guess. i dont want struggle because i feel like the si a person has is so strong and the human body can feel so much, it doesnt matter if i die or not, it'll be so unbrearable. i just want to die and not worry about pain.

I fear that stupid survival instinct that seems to be programmed into all of us and the fact that it can stop you or make you terrified to go through with it. Overcoming it is the biggest and most important thing.

It's more SI, fear of failure, others getting in the way. I don't care about painless method as I want to suffer like I deserve but I guess my body fears the pain. Like I've stood on bridge and wanted to jump but my body freezes up.

Definitely. I remember my recent attempt failed only because it was absolutely terrifying. I tried it multiple times, but it always ended up the same. I didn't have the guts to do it, at least not in the way I did it. Maybe one day. For now i keep on going.

Probably breathtaking, literally lmao. Although one thing i also fear about jumping is that there is a big chance that i'd still be alive when i hit the ground, depending on the height. Imagine being down there for a few seconds, still alive and breathing, and you can't move anything at all and everything is just painful. would suck ngl

The pain would make me feel alive. My brain needs to be destroyed violently. It was ruined by CPTSD.

I fear the pain and also the method going wrong. I don't fear death itself as death I'd peaceful.. perhaps the most peaceful thing I can ever get. I thought perfection was impossible but it isn't because death is perfection

For me it's that I am scared I will fail again. I worry I'd end up being sectioned and then I would lose the only reasons I actually get out of bed in a morning.
