Does anyone on here enjoy the culinary arts?

I worked in culinary for a while. I enjoy baking even more.

I wish I did, cooking seems fun but I have 0 experience. I'll probably have to learn someday thought if I move out of my parents house lol; I can't live off frozen stuff for the rest of my life xD

i never have enough energy for it but i wish that i did. if i wasn't depresseed this much i think i would be really into it. my brother was always very into cooking and baking, he makes a lot of really cool looking stuff, when i visit him i get to taste some of what he makes sometimes and its really good. i want to start cooking but every time i think too i am so bad feeling that i can't get myself to get up and start doing it. my best friend taught me some simple things to make. i really wish i had the energy to keep going with it. what kind of things do you like to cook?

i enjoy cooking, but i'm pretty terrible at it and haven't really had the energy to improve. I'd like to some day if my depression lets up long enough to do so, but so far i haven't had the motivation to make anything more advanced than cup noodles for a while lol

Sometimes. It depends on how bad I am hurting. I used to LOVE baking my own bread but I can't knead the dough for any length of time now so ...

I do by myself but with my mom. Is a nightmare always fighting.

In nee years we were making a brownies and then she order me to Crack an egg into the bowl then pour the mix. I mixed a bit which she got mad and I apoligized and she saw I cracked the egg and started scolding me that she never said to Crack the egg.

My sister tried to defend me which she was helping her with another dish and said to mind her own business, they argued and I tried to calmly explained that she never told me to not Crack the egg shw wouldn't take accountability and was yelling so we left.


I rather do that on my own tbh. Wish I had the energy or time.

I recently began cooking a lot! I mainly do recipies and sometimes freestyle a bit, but generally it helps me just distract myself from life and is just fun.

I used to try a new vegan or plant based recipe about every other weekend. Now I can't be bothered. Living on easy foods not requiring cooking, like fruits, nuts, and ice-cream
