• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I know this is a very very very subjective question but i am looking to hear your opinions and/or stories on this matter because it's on my mind a lot of the time

I got fired from over twenty jobs before finding catering delivery. I was miserable before. I thought I got past it with that job but it failed.

I am beyond miserable. Some of that is because I'm not working. But I can't imagine feeling any better than I do when I am working, it will just add the stress of a really difficult unrewarding job to the rest of the problems.

And I can't function or stick with anything at all and know id get fired or quit. I can't believe you normal people can keep jobs so easily

About the same, but it didn't occupy my mind as much when I was working since I had other stuff to focus on.

I am waaaaaaay less suicidal when I'm employed. At least I have the hope that as long as I'm physically able, I can stay alive and plan for some sort of future. Without a job I am dependent on others.

Very similar situation here. A job at least, unless coworkers are unbearable (as has happened in my last job and thus I quit), keeps my mind busy with things other than introspection and creates a daily routine which I find very helpful.

Depends if I see women my age at the job or not (physically see, not even interact); and if I work enough to exhaust myself, leading to breakdowns of my constant energy demanding processes which hold back the ever-pervasive "crashout" sword of Damocles. If not, it's probably a net positive all-around since I can buy stuff and feel like I'm contributing with taxes/charity.

Don't think anyone's keeping tabs on me here nowadays, but yeah I need to take my own advice and actually meditate.

Honestly no. There would be time at work that I'm suicidal and on the verge of tears for just my SI but I try to keep on a friendly smile even of im dying on the inside.

Even if I have everything going ok my depressive episodes get the best of me. I can be a month or more like that.

Lol, MORE

but sometimes it's good to be relied upon once you can do your job good enough, it's nice to have responsibilities like that. Would probably be better if you could do a job you have interest in.

And of course having money generally makes you less suicidal
