Are invites still being sent? I'd like to join even though I'm pretty quiet (I have social anxiety). One of my biggest problems is I need to get used to socializing and this would help me greatly!

I'm sorry, I very rarely use SS now so I appreciate this is very delayed.
The recovery server is still in use so I will send out invites now. Sorry if anyone receives a duplicate invite. I've lost track of who I've invited and who I haven't.
I don't tend to browse the forum anymore so for future join requests, please get in contact via DM using the "Start Conversation" button. Please use this and not "Start Chat." This is because I will receive an email notification if someone initiates a conversation and will therefore see your request sooner. There's no option to receive an email if someone contacts me via chat.
