I think the last time i cried my heart out was when a work colleague died around the start of the year.

Yes, two days ago. Because I can't do it anymore, this life is tormenting me, i belong to nowhere, i have no reason to stay here but still can't get enough courage to ctb.
It saddens me I am this way and never had a "normal" perspective on life, have always been suicidal and wanted to stop existing. Seeing others have friends and a nice, content life hurts me because I know i will never be like that. I am just not programmed that way.
All i want is out but ending my life is not easy. I feel trapped here and every day is just emptiness.

I wish I could cry. I really do. The last time I cried was after I unexpectedly lost my job two years ago. All the feelings I had bottled up and ignored came spilling out and I couldn't help it.

No. I haven't done so in a long time. I used to cry a lot in the past and in a way I miss it. I think because I cried so much, I cannot do it anymore. In a way it is like I have already died, I just feel so empty.

Having a lovely partner doesn't mean your life is fixed, sadly.
Do you have a girlfriend? Does she knows about your suicidal thoughts? What does she thinks about them?

I have a lovely partner. And I sometimes cry even if she's there saying/doing cute things to me. I know she'll suffer a lot, and it'll be another tragedy in her life. She doesn't deserve that, she deserves a lot more that what I can give her.
I can't understand what makes her still be with me, I know I'm hurting her and I'll hurt her even more when I pass out.
These things make me cry pretty often. Thank you for making this thread curious89.

I did. I miss my son (10) . He lives with his father in Sweden (I'm in Florida). I see him about 2x a year for a few weeks. The pain at times is indescribable. But I put on a brave/happy face and I'm most of the time just numb.
