I'll be sending delayed emails when/if I CTB. It is possible to cancel the emails or reschedule if things don't go according to plan.
I practiced with Gmail and the mail goes to 'scheduled' folder. This may differ depending what email server you use.
Maybe it goes to draft or outbox or something else sometimes. Experiment by sending emails to yourself.
