A thick tree branch, pull up bars (my choice, personally, since it can support human weight and can be installed easily), over-the-door hangers, closet rods. Anything that is sturdy enough to support your weight and slightly more works. Also make sure that you have nowhere to prop yourself up on while you hang, because if there is, your SI will kick in and stop the process.

I wish you luck! Full suspension is surprisingly underrated for how cheap and accessible it is. If executed correctly, success is pretty much guaranteed and death isn't drawn out.
Ofc it's not ideal, imo the biggest hurdle is finding a secure anchor point, but once it's done, everything else is pretty simple.

Agreed that full suspension is the best method overall. Is there a certain way you have to drop your weight for full suspension to guarantee carotid artery compression? Does there have to be a short drop at all, like a 1 foot drop?

I highly recommend referencing this thread, it has an answer to your question and a lot more useful info than I could ever provide from my own limited experience and testing.
I think the most important part is just dropping as quick as possible, to compress arteries fast and go unconscious within seconds. Length of the drop shouldn't play a big role, unless you're going for the neck break. Just make sure you're far enough from reaching the ground when you step off, since even static rope may stretch under pressure.
