Method CTBing with guitar/bass chords

It probably is a bad idea, but I was thinking about making a rope of fortune with guitar strings. That's because there is no way I can buy a rope without alerting my parents, while chords for my guitar (or probably bass since they are thicker) give me the perfect excuse. The strongest string would be 3mm of diamater (steel).

Of course there is no way I can hang myself with those, but maybe there is a way to strangle myself succesfully

It might work but, don't you have some neckties in the house? They are kinda better for hanging.

I feel like they would cut you due to the weight even with partial. In the least it sounds painful, and strangling hurts and causes panic.

It might be uncomfortable and painful. Btw I thought about this too a few times when I was unsuccessfully trying to learn to play the guitar, lol.
