Help Couple questions after reading through PPH SN chapter

After reading through PPH SN chapter and I have a couple questions. What are the benefits of adding ondanestron to the meto dose?
Also when it refers to nexium that would be interchangeable with doubling the dose on the antiacids mentioned in Stans guide?
English is not my first language so reading through this can a bit confusing. Sorry if these kinds of questions are annoying.

Ondans is just another antiemetic. it's mostly used for cancer patients so I don't know how people are getting their hands on it unless they're chronically ill in that way

If you've read Stan's guide, that's the most relevant info for the average person. PPeH is more aimed at the elderly and terminal, who likely have more access to a wider range of different meds. Stick to Stan's guide and don't over-complicate things for yourself!
