i always forget if it's just CO or CO2, sorry im stupid... the bbq grill smoke that people often die from inside tents.
could you somehow (hypothetically) make a mask where all the smoke goes? and it would be more effective bc it's contained in such a small area as a mask?

how do you plan to cool down it and channel it into a mask without suffering from burns or do it without some complicated apparatus like biomass gasifier. smoke is a very unpleasant thing to breath in sounds same as being suffocated by brimstone

Smoke in a small area causes suffocation id imagine, which would probably activate your SI.
