stop me, as someone currently in recovery, yes. stop me from thinking about it....im not sure, even on my hopeful days i still feel....different...off. idk its almost like its ingrained in me. and if i cant stop thinking about it i might as well....i mean its difficult to enjoy life when all you see is death

If someone invented negative emissions technology for Co2 and it was clear based on the invention it could be deployed rapidly and at scale at low cost I would postpone CTB.

I actually don't do much to mitigate my impact on it. I View the environment as being too far gone especially with the global warming aspect. The reason why it makes me want to CTB is I have a pretty good idea of the expected impacts and I know it will create a sort of hell world that most won't be able to escape. It is one of the main reasons that I want to ctb

I kinda hit that point. I'm not rich but I have enough for many years, but the problem is I'm kind of a minimalist so money isn't real a thing that brings joy, its just more something that enables me to live minimalistic lifestyle

A few hundred years is too late, its more like before 2100 is out. If you look at the sea level rise maps, any conclusion that you could draw by looking at them would have to include the possibility of a major war between many nations to fight over the remaining space. But you are right about CTB before then - i am anxious that i have no CTB method but it is coming to me now

I think it is common for smaller nations to take refugee in other countries.

it is good to have a reliable method just in case it comes to it though.
But we have plenty of time to prepare.
At least a couple decades.
