Method Contradictions in methodology on Hanging resource page.

Firstly does anyone know who wrote- the howtohangyourself.pdf in the List of Resources ( I really like the introduction for that). How ever after reading through atleast half of it, I noticed that there are repeated references to placing any ligature low and at the base of the neck (and below the larynx). I understand that these are personal experiments- but am confused as this contradicts ALL the other given info-which states it should be higher up-more towards the jaw and/or above the adams apple- in order to reach the all important caratoids- so so confused right now-any thoughts?

I'd put the ligature where the pulse of the carotids is strongest... for me that's above the adam's apple. Besides, if you do below gravity is going to cause the ligature to slip upwards anyway.

Mine works high too. Practically under my chin. The jaw takes some of the pressure off your windpipe too.

Holy shit, you helped me find my left ceratoid (sp?)!
Couldn't imagine it being THIS high!
I'm already a freak of nature being epileptic and all. The right one is apparently like 1cm to the right of my adam's apple, the left is like 2cm about ABOVE IT!

Every so often I freak out and molest my neck about it. Like, real creepy fondling. lol
Couldn't imagine it being this high! It makes no goddamn sense!
Then again, when I was in school (very very jewish school, btw. Israel - Jewish democratic country. First of all Jewish, democracy comes in later) we didn't even HAVE anatomy lessons!
