Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I'm thinking about using SN or CO to CTB. What are the consequences of a failed suicide attempt? Would I be committed to a psych ward until they deemed I was no longer suicidal? I assume i would be held and that a suicide attempt and involuntary psych ward stay would remain on my "record" and I would never be able to purchase a gun. Would it also preclude me from ever getting a decent job that would require a background check that involved a review of my medical records? Does a suicide attempt show up on a standard criminal background check (is suicide attempt a crime?) or would it only show on my medical records? I'm afraid if I attempt and fail the consequences of failure will remain with me the rest of my life and further complicate my life. If anyone that has survived a suicide attempt in the USA describe what they went through after an attempt and any negative consequences from a financial, medical and employment perspective I would appreciate it.

You would be sectioned especially in the U.K.
The failed suicide could also have an impact on your life if it left you brain dead or with no Mobility.
Suicide is not a crime unless you helping someone commit suicide.

Not automatically, although it may be different in other regions,as I woke up in the hospital after a failed attempt before bluffing my way through a brief interview with Mental Health worker and then was out the door & back on the streets within an hour.

They see through me though!
