Closed or open eyes?

To all of you doing the nitrogen method. Will you close your eyes or keep them open when taking your breaths?
I have always closed my eyes when I am scared, but at the same time I want to feel sort of like I am aware of what's happening
Not sure what is better lol

I dont think it matters a whole lot as you'll be unconscious within minutes

I always have to keep eyes my open to watch the O2--When I actually CTB, I'll still keep them open
