I thought about this method for a while. But ultimately I couldn't find enough information on it. I personally would rather have no attempt than a failed attempt.

No. Sodium azide. There is a mega thread on it.

I considered this method for a hot second. But what turned me off was:
*if someone finds you & try's to save you (mouth to mouth)- they could die too.
*it's explosive

FYI, it's not that explosive if you store it correctly. I work in a lab, we have containers of this stuff sitting on a shelf for years. We make solutions of it in water and we've never had an incident. Always handle chemicals responsibly, of course, but it's not like this stuff is going to spontaneously combust. It reacts largely with metals, so if you are handling it, stick with plastic or pure stainless steel.

Oh yes, I do believe it can be handled and used as a CTB method correctly & safely to others. I have seen proper handling of it, as well as signs for law enforcement.

However, my blonde ass would 100% mess it up. I would be truly terrified of messing up in a hotel room or harming someone else and ultimately ruled against this method, personally. I lack common sense. Lol.

Heard about this in a thread that got a lot of backlash. I don't recommend it, especially when you are very much fucking around with anything that restricts breathing. That's how you survive with brain damage

I 100% respect you for feeling uncomfortable passing along information. My purpose of this comment is not to try to get you to change your mind on this.

I personally don't think that pain = impulsive. Yes, the majority of people want a peaceful exit. But not everybody does. I know a handful of people that would willingly die via torture if they could. Myself included.

Also, some people who are CTBing live in so much pain emotionally that the physical pain, at this point, literally doesn't matter. It's a mere extension of what they're already feeling.

Some people may live with chronic pain, so pain is nothing new to them.

And some people may just be really good at handling or internalizing physical pain.

Honestly I would think somebody going with a painful, but private method over something quick & public would be less impulsive. Cheap poison seems less impulsive to me than jumping in a public area that will leave others traumatized.

Ofc these are just my thoughts on the subject of pain & impulsitivity.

I understand that as well. It's hypocritical to keep info when I know that my past attempts were in a similar fashion. I try not to question my moral judgement on the two situations despite them being the same. It's easier that way.

another one is barium chloride, its cheap and can be bought on amazon, i would read the entire thread first though
its pretty unpleasant, but not as much as drinking something corrosive

You're lucky not because it's cheap but because you was able to get one. I live in the US and it seems illegal to even buy it to residential. Even tho I prob won't be able to drink nasty drink but it's nice to have as a backup plan

Yes, I live in a third world country, as in most of these countries it is easily available to buy SN. Also, there are not many deaths here because of it. It is not a famous method here either. I wish you luck in finding your SN.
