Chat uses the chat feature in a private window. A conversation use the messenger feature to send and recieve messenges to one or a group of users

i find the chat feature doesnt give you notifications. id love to understand why and if admin can change that

That would be useful. I'm still a bit confused as to the difference but as it seems to work, it works so I'll accept that lol. Just grateful to be around likeminded people.
