Hi! I asked chat gtp if someone could read my massages and it said avsolutely no. So I asked a lot of stuff about suicide in different conversations. I got a messege serveral times that my question broke the rules. I also uploaded a picture of myself in a whole other conversation on chat gtp but with the same account. And yes I know I have been so stupid that I deserve this anxiety.... Anyhow I know found out that real people go trough all your conersations if chat gtp told you that you broke the ruled. At last if you get severalt of those message, which I have. I asked chat gtp about it and it made it worse. Chat gtp told me that this is serious. It still promised me that eople in general cant read it but a team of security will probally read my conversations and that my conversations will be connected to eatch other. It said it could take months befire its done. Im so freaked out and feel so stupid. Chat gtp itself told me that this was a 7 serious in a scale from 0-10. It feel like chat gtp almoste tried to judge me when I asked about it. It was really harsh
Anyone have a similar experience?
Is it as bad as chat gtp told me?
Besides I live in a small country. And chat gtp now has a picture of me. It also requested my full name, e-mail and Phonenumber when I signad up. Chat gtp told me that the security team will see all of this. What if the security team is someone i Know?

I doubt you will get banned or reported, ChatGPT flag millions of messages each day and the team simply doesnt have time to ban every single user who talks about suicide or NSFW stuff. Remember that ChatGPT often overestimates its own capabilities or OpenAI's capabilities because its been taught to.

Remember you can't trust anything it tells you as at the end of the day it's just a prediction algorithm to choose what word comes next. When you ask it questions like this there's a high likelihood it just makes it up!!

I agree that your odds of getting banned or something are low, but to be safe going forward make sure to use an open source, locally run model when asking questions like this to prevent anyone spying on you. DeepSeek is an example you could use.

It can't do that. Obviously, OpenAI can see your chats if you didn't enable for them to not be recorded, but the chance they are looking at your chats specifically and then reporting you is so low as to be negligible.

Thank you! Feel much better now. I actually asked chatgtp again about the risk and now it changed its mind totalt, so wierd. It said that security team mostly go trough red flags and not orange, even if they are many. It also said now that security team cant connect my chats beacuse I have deleted them. Its so wierd and I think u are right. It feels like its just guessing right now.

Even though the system flaged me with orange several times? I did enable for not to be recorded and I deleted all of them directly after the conversation.

I've never heard of such precedents. I think if some people do check those conversations, they're doing it to improve the AI's reaction to controversial topics. I think in that case their goal would be to be sure Chat answers "politely" (in their understanding of the matter) to your messages. I doubt your data is given to organisations that can actually reach out to you or something. If that were true, it could come to the surface, and there would be a scandal due to it. I bet they don't want such attention; therefore, it's in their interest not to do that.
