Venting Change of plans

I was certain I only had a day to live. Cleaned up the house, encrypted devices, sanitized my life, had my kit ready and a charming place in nature chosen. I was wrong, circumstances changed and now I'll likely have to wait more than two weeks until another opportunity shows up.

It's a strange, empty and cold feeling, all that mental preparation was for nothing, which leaves me feeling like I'm already a corpse rotting alive haha

I'm sorry to hear. There's something deeply unsettling about surviving a day you had already emotionally died on. The world keeps moving, but your mind is still standing in the place where you expected everything to end..
