Unfortunately I've been sectioned because of my family, so all plans are on hold for now. I'm appealing the section. It's fucking torture and the wifi and data are both so shit I am lucky if I catch a minute of working internet. Today is my birthday, and I hate it because I consider it a cause for regret and misery rather than celebration. I didn't want to join the 27 club because I thought that would be lame, but I guess I have to now. Not-so-Happy Birthday to meeee

I will very likely and hopefully CTB before the summer, however.

i read ur initial post and i thought surely youd be gone. im sorry things couldnt go ur way but it feels weirdly relieving to hear ur still around. i know we dont know each other, but i hope things get much better for u. much love

Thanks, I did make a couple serious attempts (my first attempts ever), which I haven't told my family or anyone, but they still managed to run their mouths enough to get me sectioned, again for the first time.

Your intentions and words are kind, but it's the opposite of relieving for me. I have a neurological condition which is only getting worse thanks to this kind of thing. Things will only get worse for me the longer I'm around, but thanks again :)

Sorry to hear that. Internet is definitely a good distraction when you're alone, so I'm sorry to hear you're not getting that. How long will you be sectioned for?

I wish you relief from your neurological condition and hopefully you're getting proper medication for it.

Yep! I can't play games with my friends and cousins on my phone, can't listen to music, etc. so nothing to distract me from my thoughts. The urges to self-harm are immense, even though I've never been a serious self-harmer, but there's nothing to do it with sadly.

Not sure how long I'm sectioned (initially up to 28 days) but hopefully discharged soon (most people are discharged sooner).

Thank you, but there's no medication that helps much, just the usual SSRIs.
FND is a complex mind-body condition, often associated with trauma or stress... sufferers are 6 times likelier to CTB.
