Method Castor beans or SN?

I'm pretty confused, I see alot of people on here talking about SN, that seems to be the most popular method on this forum. For context I live in the US, I googled where to buy some, and there's so may different kinds, ranging from food grade to lab grade. Which is the best one to get?
Another method I've been considering, but don't know as much about is Castor beans. They seem to be alot easier to get and it's a lot simpler than SN. In your opinion which would be the better method. Depending the insight I get on which is easier/ faster acting I'll buy it this week.

all of the ones you see by googling are likely chemical suppliers, who require a shipping address that is a commercial address, meaning they do not ship to residential addresses. you have to buy from overseas. as for any specifics on what to get or what to look for please consult the threads pinned.

as for castor beans, from a simple google search you'd probably need to synthesize ricin from it to guarantee lethality, which is illegal to do. castor beans themselves are not illegal it seems, but the production of ricin is. you could probably just do the leaves themselves but i'm unsure how potent it would be as i have not done research into it myself.

Well, castor beans contain ricin, which is lethal. But it takes a long time to work and the symptoms sound excruciating compared to about 20 minutes of minor pain for SN. There's no antidote, which is good depending on how sure you are.

Ricin in food or water can cause very severe "food poisoning" symptoms – including vomiting and bloody diarrhea. It also affects the liver and kidneys. If the dose is big enough, it can kill within three days. One milligram of ricin, in food or water, can kill an adult. - Minnesota Department of Health

Ricin takes days to kill you. By the time you have symptoms, you are a dead man walking. Your hair falls out and your organs shut down one by one. Of course, this is assuming the castor beans have enough ricin in them to kill you. Plant-poison methods are highly unpredictable as each plant carries a different amount of compound in it. It is not a good method.

SN, on the other hand, is well documented and kill in ~40 minutes with LOC in ~20 minutes. However, its popularity has caused it to become heavily regulated and therefore difficult to obtain. See these pages for more information:
