There's a Movie called "You Don't Know Jack" which is about Dr.Kevorkian who heped people CTB. Later in the movie he got his license revoked because the state didn't like what he was doing but he still helped people to CTB because it isn't illegal to help someone CTB. He got jailed in the end but only because he himself injected Pentobarbital to his patient instead of the patient doing the injection. So instead of helping him to CTB, he technically "killed" him. He did it on purpose to draw attention to how dumb this rules are that the patient has to do the last step.

I don't like how MAID organisations are so damn expensive and picky. Why can't we make our own? The only important thing is that we organize everything and do it according to the law. Then it is legal. You don't even have to be a doctor to help someone CTB. Anyone can do it. But, only a doctor has access to Pentobarbital, which is why in the movie he started using the exit bag method after his medical license got revoked.

In most countries, providing anything that looks like assistance to someone causing their own death is illegal unless you are an official organization like MAID. Many countries are even cracking down on what we have here. Maybe I am confused as to what you are after.

A private individual may also legally assist someone with suicide under certain circumstances, if the person makes a free and informed decision and they do the final act themselves. If someone else performs the final act (for example, giving a lethal injection), that is generally considered active euthanasia and is illegal in Germany. So, in Germany, assisted dying organizations don't have a legal monopoly

In the USA, only a handful of states have physician-assisted suicide, and in those states and other states, if you are not a physician and you assist someone to kill themselves, you can be persecuted up to a felony. So over here the medical system in a few states are the only ones that is allowed to perform that.

Apparently pentobarbital doesn't exist in Canada. Only phenobarbital which is not as effective and has a higher failure rate.

But as far as I understand, the laws of that time have changed in Michigan, where Dr. Kevorkian carried out his activities, and now such actions are punishable by criminal liability, as is generally the case throughout the world.

although in practice you would need the person to have a will/patient will and also have a shrink attest that they are able to make a free will'd decision. Also record the act and inform police before and after and make a plan in case the person will be temporarily held under the mental health act and support them with the talk to the judge, so they/you make clear that they want to exercise their right to a self determined death as per the 2020 court ruling.

That's the problem with there not being a law and only court rulings.
After the person died, relatives may try to sue you/press charges, and if you have not prepared, you may be charged for manslaughter
