can someone who believed in the afterlife comfort me?

there are so many different claims made by mediums, people with supernatural experiences etc etc this worries me about the afterlife and i don't know what happens next, maybe there is a permanent hell or something, it gives me anxiety

I'm not sure how much help I can be, but as someone who's less religious but a bit more spiritual(to a fault, it sometimes delves into my delusions) I had never been too keen on believing on a concrete afterlife until a few years ago

When I think about my passing, I just imagine it like falling asleep, and waking up in the next universe, the next life
Although sometimes it's less that I wake up in the next life and more I wake up in my personal afterlife, where I can take whatever form I want, seal, cat, even a dragon at times

I imagine in this state, that I play with my closest friend, my life partner, for an eternity, in whatever forms we're in

There's so much talk of what the afterlife looks like. Christians saying that there's heaven or hell. Those who believe in reincarnation

I think when it's something so intimate it's important to delve into yourself and see what you see in those moments. At the end of the day if you're scared about the idea, imagine an ideal version of what can happen after you go is a kind way to see it in my opinion

I've seen testimonies of people who "pass" temporarily and are revived on Reddit mainly experience a dreamless sleep, sometimes people feel really euphoric and happy (this was said by a woman who nearly died while giving birth) and even have their life flash (I'm pretty sure this was proven as someone who died in the middle of an MRI had signals in their brain indicating this) before their eyes.

i believe in afterlife and i like the NDE stories. let's hope there is a peaceful place somewhere for us because one thing is sure : hell does exist = planet earth if you were born unlucky
