For context, I live in Europe, and in my country obtaining a firearm is very difficult. I don't want to go through all the procedures just to get a permit.
A few years ago, a friend showed me his grandfather gun collection and gave me a few old shotgun shells, specifically marked "14mm – Gevelot." I'm mostly worried that the ammunition might be too old or too weak to actually do anything aswell.
I've heard people talk about firearms as a good method of suicide, and lately I've been struggling to keep it together, I'm just scared that the shotgun shell won't kill me instantly if eventually i find a way to actually detonate thing.
