Even without this data re timestamps, how much of a big red neon light do you need? We could argue in favour of this user for every piece of evidence of dubious conduct, but when it gets to the point where there are five or six pieces of stark evidence, it's pretty clear cut imo.

Very, very few goodbye threads are turned into a "trial" without there being some reason to suspect dubious activity which is usually within the content of that user's postings.

Posting a random photo of N isn't going to help in that scenario; one N scammer did just that before faking a liveblogged passing. I can post a picture of a noose, it doesn't evidence an immediate death by hanging, in fact it evidences nothing more than the fact that l have somehow acquired a picture of a noose.

My question was a theory about whether or not the metadata could change due to an app, clearly an app can change this as there is an app dedicated to changing metadata.

If I was in doubt, I would say - "Guys, there's a chance he's not lying because an App CAN change metadata and he did use an app to edit the photo".

You gave some words and it was your word against V-guy, a "he said, she said". All anyone is saying that this could have been handled more effectively, so people would've understood why he was bad news rather than seeing someone get attacked and jump to his defense. Leaving it alone would've been bad too, but this wasn't the only way to avoid leaving it alone.
