Bureaucracy is driving me insane

Can't get a gun in my new state without an updated driver's license.

Cant update my license without two pieces of proof that I now live in this state.

Can't use my insurance card as proof because I need a license from this state to update my insurance.

So not only can I not kill myself, I currently cant update my license, and my insurance expires tonight, so I can't legally drive at all starting tomorrow.

I fucking hate being alive.

I do ask though - are you sure it is not possible to renew your insurance? It insures the vehicle, not the driver. I never needed to send my insurance company my license, just my car information.

Fortunately I have at least calmed down enough to realize I can renew my insurance under my old address and update once I have my ID. I think I *should* be able to get my credit card statement and my first paycheck from my new job by tomorrow to prove my new address.
Now that I've had a little breather, the worst that happens is I have to hold off until next week to renew the license and buy the gun. Everything is going to be fine now. Just have to deal with these few things, one more work week, then ideally I'll be out of here lol
