• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I'm thinking of waiting until a couple of years from now before I make my first attempt. I have already held it against my temple before (it was fully unloaded): It felt so weird. Like, holy shit. I felt the nerves endings in my fingers tingling.

So now that I finally have a gun, where should I go from here? I'm a 21 year old black guy, just for reference. I am the stereotypical fatherless, emotionally immature black American guy, so that should help somewhat in giving me advice on what angles to properly hold the gun at and everything.

I'd say if you're planning on sticking around for a couple of years, those couple of years should be your focus rather than the gun. You got your way out if you need it, live like the next two years are your last, take risks on changing things, see if you can find a reason to live in those years. If it comes to it in a couple of years hopefully you'll have less regrets.

I've never owned or shot a real gun, but I understand that shooting into the temple can go wrong. The "flinch" response can cause you to blow the top/side of your head off, or take your eyes out (I have seen a TV documentary/news story about someone who did this). And survive. Not good. As with everything, research is good. There's a lot of info on this site for example.

My shotgun has been in the safe for over 5 years. I've put the barrel in my mouth a hundred times. I've put my finger on the trigger when it wasn't on safety and loaded. But it's all useless. I just can't do it and it's driving me crazy.
