So some context:

My wife left me. I went to make an attempt. Parents called the cops who ended up tackling me and beating me up. Now I am back with my folks and I am trying to figure out the best option given that I have people aware of my intentions and ready to stop me and lock me up again in a moment.

So what's my best option here? Fake recovery so that I can jump as originally intended? Hope I can hang myself without them noticing? Suicide by cop is off the table because I couldn't fuck up a stranger's life like that, and also failure would likely land me in prison.

If you're going through the trouble of a fake recovery, I hope you can also find a more peaceful and less si-inducing method than jumping.

But I think faking the recovery and getting some privacy is the best way to go. Way too much chance for things to go wrong with the fam always checking on you.

Hanging would seem to be a good option. People can pull it off in prisons and hospitals, of all places. Some pros are that you don't need to procure any special or conspicuous means and it's relatively fast. It's important to make sure you have enough time to not be discovered, so doing it at night or while others are out of the house. Also take into consideration that it can be noisy (especially if your body convulses after you lose consciousness).

If you do choose to jump, please be very careful and make sure the height you choose will be sufficient. You could end up with some serious lasting bodily damage if you survive a non-lethal jump.

Wishing you the best. I'm sorry you feel so trapped.

Regardless, I agree with @threesummers that faking recovery to get others off your back can't hurt. I frequently do something similar, downplaying the severity of my symptoms, so I can go about my preparations in peace.
