Everyone will believe what they want too,
Many relevant points have been made here.
I've been on and off this site for two and a half years now looking for a partner, the process can be heartbreaking.
Actually met one woman who was using the partner thread to find a relationship, it was twisted but she had very real issues driving her madness as a lot of us here do, she thought by starting a relationship with someone else suicidal and saving them, they would in turn save her.......
Then live happily ever after.
Have spoken with over a dozen people, vetted 3, one is still alive but struggling after backing out,
We are still friends and support each other to this day.
One couldn't wait for documents to travel and went alone on impulse and very painfully, one got so weak and sick her parents took her in and are keeping her alive beyond her wishes negating any chance of CTB together.
One woman wanted me to shoot her than myself, that's not suicide it's murder/suicide just NO !.
It definitely is dangerous and needs to be taken very seriously when trying to partner with someone.
For me, Male 59 years old, looking for Female to CTB with,
It's simply a matter of not wanting to be alone in those final days, hours, minutes, seconds, when SI kicks in hard,
Being tangled up with someone,
Looking into thier eyes, supporting each other seems more calming and peaceful than going alone.
Being male identifying as male, yes I'm looking to go with a woman who identifies as such.
In the world I grew up in, before the vast amount of you pups here on SaSu where even born we believed that a loving union between a man and a woman was the most important thing to find in life.
I should have went when my wife passed a decade ago, feel guilty to this day that I didnt, life has had no meaning since.
Also knowing how most people react and trash talk after someone is gone it would be ever spoken of and twisted about, if I was found tangled up in the arms of another man.
How you leave the living and their thoughts matter.
My child and a few close friends will already be affected sorely.
The simple introduction of possible gender/sexuality issues would cause more confusion and possibly pain.
On the up side after all the trauma caused by trying this, I've lived longer while still trying to partner, won't stop looking for a female partner, I do not want to die alone, as I've lived for years now, I definitely want the touch and gaze of a woman to be my final vision.
The partner thread has its place,
The rules and warnings are clearly stated, just like everything else here on site,
it's all got to be taken with a grain or two of salt and no one judge, just support.
Dying is already terrifying,
Alone its 100 times more terrifying to me.

I guess people with a genuine wish to partner can always find each other without a special forum.
