I'm feeling ugly already and now there really is no denying that I started losing hair as a still pretty young guy. I'm so insecure and I don't know how I'm supposed to handle that. It feels so humiliating. I've never had a girlfriend and I think that's never going to change now. Even walking around in public is going to feel humiliating in the future.

many young guys are losing their hair earlier nowadays, due to stress and processed foods.

If you had a job there is always a transplant, roughly $5000 or ÂŁ6000

chin up bro

Lots of ladies like the bald looks. Someone may find it attractive. Go to gym, workout and try not to focus on ONE physical feature. Maybe join a hobby club and find people with similar interests? Or speed dating sessions? It sounds cheesy but it might work wonders. There is always Rogain and clinical options. The Rock is famous muscular and bald and so many successful people have scant hairs or are receding a hairlines. Other people probably don't base their liking someone on their physical appearance, especially one feature even if quite apparent, as you believe they do!!! Good luck 🍀

i promise you that love is still possible <3

there are sincere amounts of women whose love goes beyond mere hair style. in fact, attraction is influenced not merely by looks, but also behavior, shared interests, shared values, as well as relationship dynamics too.

and there are also women who will find beauty in all different kinds of styles upon heads; hair, bald, in fact there are women who find bald heads attractive too. what's not to say that in the eyes of a different person, in the eyes of a woman, there is beauty currently within you that you may not currently see? <3

and if hair loss is a concern, maybe a better short-term solution could be trying on a hat, cap, or any kind of such accessory that you feel comfortable with.

there are solutions outside of loneliness and thousand-dollar hair transplants <3

btw, social struggles in general are likely a greater factor in struggles to enter romantic relationships. attractiveness is but one variable in a sea of fundamental variables that influence how people interact. maybe you could try hanging around a coffee shop, bar, bookstore, or any such place, to find friends in general—whose company helps to make life even a touch easier, who can provide comforting conversation and interesting discussion to feed and grow your own soul as well. The desire for a romantic relationship may be the brain trying to seek love in general. The kind of love experienced in a romantic relationship shares a lot in common with those experienced in friendships too. I encourage you to explore all kinds of human connection there are <3, with people of all kinds. This helps not only in the short term with loneliness but in the long term with helping to understand people better and grow your familiarity both with the world and what you truly seek in life too 🤗. There is more than what meets the eye :).

My advice would be to simply shave it or trim it very short. It's fairly common, also for people without baldness.

That was one of the nicest and most compassionate texts anyone has ever written to me. You are a very kind soul 🥲

balding can just kind of become the new you, or you can shave it all off and just be completely bald, and yeah lifting weights is good any way like the other poster said i think..

but yeah there are hair solutions too i guess.. you've seen the old pictures of elon where he started going bald and now he has hair like normal, so he must be using some thing that worked..

You're on the canon event in every sensitive and young man's life. You can either work your ass off, and try to get a hair transplant if your balding truly leads you into miserable place, or you can embrace it, shave it off and become bald.
Third option would be to just accept balding as it is, and try to grow out the hair to somehow hide it. Unfortunately there are no easier solutions for this problem.

Tbh, I had a crush once on a guy who was pretty young, bald, and objectively ugly by most people's standards (and I looked good at the time & had very attractive other options). He smelled really good, he had a sexy voice, he was smart, kind, interesting, fun, and funny. Just saying even if you don't have looks, there are other things that can be sexy about a person. My advice would be to continue to work on yourself & develop your other qualities.

Your value isn't determined by whether people find you attractive.

If medication does not work, there's always the option of a transplant or a hair system (So many people wear them, you can't even tell). I understand that hairloss is depressing, but it's something completely out of your control. So many of us here have some issue(s) due to shit genetics, what can we do.

The trick is to just own it. I guess you're still young - just shave it all off right now and get some cool hobbies and get good at them. One of the most attractive things to women is a man who has passions (that aren't playing video games or drinking) and who is good at them. They really don't care too much about hair. Obviously if you can get rich then that really starts to make every single physical feature so unimportant (in terms of getting laid) that you'll never think about it again.

it's not a random med, it's a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor just like finasteride, it's just more effective since it inhibits both type 1 and type 2 5-alpha reductases
If anything, after careful deliberation. Never "NOW".

Dutasteride seem to mess with hormones, and have a bunch of different effects. While it seem fairly safe, I would not take it for superficial reasons.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dutasteride#Adverse_effects
if your balding you don't get to worry about about minor side effects

i am Really sorry you feel that way. I can't really give you any meaningful advice other then attempt to save money for a hair transplant
