Venting Awkward at work

My boss came into the office this evening to talk to me special because someone in the office told them they suspected I was suicidal.

My heart was racing 1000 miles per hour.

However I told him: No. I am not suicidal.

That is a lie of course, but I am not dealing with that again at work.

My boss did not challenge me when I said no. So I don't know who was talking to him. But it will put me more on guard at the work for sure!!!!!

Back a couple years ago I thought it might help to be open about it and get support. Initially it was helpful, then it went to crap.

I try to keep it out of work and I haven't talked to anyone at work about it. But emotionally there are signs. And hard to 100% contain how much I want to be done.

Woke this morning with 2 calls from a crisis line. I was sleeping so they just left messages. So someone from the office reached out to them to call me. Hopefully they will just leave me alone.

Someone must have told your boss and now contacted the crisis line for you.
I guess it is good they care, but makes for a tougher work life.
Try to seem happy when there.

Lesson for all: NEVER bring this up at work.
