Besides places like SaSu and the old reddit, where you can talk to like-minded people, I also found some interest and comfort in the words some folks have left behind, or would leave behind. I know that folks have mentioned ashspace before, but it links out to a few old personal pages with folk's poetry and diaries. I found the art to some of their coding choices on a few personal pages to be something I appreciated, and it gave me a lot to consider about what I might want to have left of myself for the folks I know personally will be affected when I go, and possibly in some quiet place online for others who might find similar comfort from me.
I also really liked the concept behind Dead Letter Office, which is currently only available via archive. (The read page on the Internet Archive has valid captures from 2001-2008. This is the first I ever saw.)
Anyone else find something they appreciated from these places, or have others like them that they relate to, as death-minded folks? What about things you might want to leave other than a more straightforward physical/digital note?
